Provincial Black Lacquer Cabinet From Shanxi - 19th Century Origin - England 108 x 33 82This provincial antique Chinese country cabinet is from Shanxi province in Northern China. It has retained its original black lacquered finish and original iron hardware. It dates from the 19th century, is over 150 years old (Qing Dynasty 1644 1911), and is constructed from elm wood ( yumu). The drawer carving is in the traditional Shanxi style.
