Germany, Wehrmacht. A Clasp To The 1939 Iron Cross, I Class, Type Ii Newly Listed a headquarters(Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz 1939 I. Klasse). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, set on a trapezoidal pedestal bearing a raised date of 1939, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 44. 92 mm (w) x 30. 55 mm (h), weighing 8. 2 grams, most of the silver finish has been lost and oxidation is evident to the
